Our Inspiration Blessed Anne Marie Javouhey Foundress of the congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny

We, the sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny, animated and guided by the life and spirit of Blessed Anne Marie Javouhey, aim at the integral formation and liberation of the human person, and like her, strive to actively participate in the educational apostolate.

Imbued with her missionary spirit, we seek to concretize God’s will and plan for those we educate:

  • Through a preferential love for the poor and the less privileged.
  • By making adequate use of every possible means to impart value based education to children.
  • By believing in and respecting the dignity of the poorest, and working to promote freedom from all types of oppression.
  • By motivating our students to build a better world, and live her motto, “To be everywhere there is good to be done”.
